Dr. Pearl was professional and efficient and personable and I understand he is a great surgeon. His nurse was great too. But when I scheduled the appointment to have melanoma removed on my calf, the front office told me I could go to work after and could resume normal activities. This was not true at all, so be sure and ask the nurse, not the person scheduling your surgery what to expect. It is four days after surgery and walking is still difficult. I took two days off and could have taken three, as I felt like a truck had run over me. I know everyone is different, but you have to keep the leg elevated, so working is difficult unless you work from home, even a desk job. I would encourage everyone to take off the day of surgery if melanoma is on the leg. I don’t know how long it will be until I can take a daily walk.
Dr. Pearl and his staff are absolutely amazing. From the start I have had an excellent experience. Dr. Pearl truly just gets it. He’s caring and listens. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

On the day of, they got me right in and greatly alleviated my stress as a first-timer. Dr. Pearl was thorough in his pre-treatment explanations, answering all of my questions honestly.
