When you arrive at the surgical center for your scheduled surgery day, our professional medical staff will have you dress in a sterilized cap and gown. The medical team will take you into the operating room on a surgical bed, where a doctor will administer general anesthesia. Dr. Pearl will strategically make incisions to avoid any visible scarring. After these incisions, the breast implants will be inserted into a pocket. Once the implant is in place, Dr. Pearl will close the incisions with layered sutures and surgical tape to close the skin. Once the surgery is complete, you will be taken to the recovery room. After Surgery Recovery Your new breasts will be wrapped in gauze and a supportive bra that helps minimize swelling and allow your breasts to heal. After an hour or so, you will be discharged and will be able to go home. The rest of your recovery will be at home.
